The composition centres on a deep crimson red field, adorned with palmettes, leafy tendrils, and floral motifs. A wide beige border frames the interior, featuring complementary rosettes and scrolling vine work in shades of ochre, soft taupe, and muted gold. The low, thin wool pile provides a smooth, refined surface with subtle natural abrash variations across the fibres.
