Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, it features a thin, durable pile with short fringed ends. The central field is set in a light ivory cream, filled with stepped medallions, diamonds, and star-like rosettes in vibrant shades of brick red, forest green, navy, and sky blue. A substantial multi-tiered border frames the design, dominated by a wide red band patterned with geometric blossoms and flanked by delicate blue and green guard stripes.
